Before enrolling on the Landscape Architecture course at the University I didn’t really know what I wanted to do but once enrolled I decided that this is definitely for me.  ​ever heard


What education / courses / training have you undertaken to get where you are now?

3 years undergraduate course in Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire
2 years part-time postgraduate course in Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire
Just completed my Pathway to Chartership with the Landscape Institute.


What do you enjoy most about working for TG?

The friendly atmosphere, flexibility, community days and the wide range of work. I also enjoy working with ecologists and getting the opportunity to go on surveys with them to gain a wider understanding of environmental planning.  

What advice would you give to people looking to have a career in landscape / ecology / arboriculture?

Try to do as much work experience with different practices to learn what is actually involved “on the job”. University can only teach you so much and it is so different being in practice.
