Annabelle is an Associate at Tyler Grange and is based in the Manchester office, specialising in landscape planning, landscape and visual impact assessment and both strategic and detailed soft landscaping. Annabelle has a background working in the private sector in multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy and landscape design practices prior to joining TG with experience of working on large infrastructure, utility and flood alleviation projects, as well as habitat creation, housing regeneration and new public realm schemes throughout the UK for both public and private clients.
Annabelle’s project involvement has included providing landscape planning and design inputs as part of an Environmental Statement for a large mixed-use development, new sports stadium and country park in Castleford, West Yorkshire; providing early strategic advice and preparing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for several large residential developments within the Green Belt and on settlement fringes; providing landscape assessment and design inputs on a number of flood alleviation and managed coastal realignment projects, including schemes within Snowdonia National Park, as well as Conservation Areas and coastal locations; and producing a desk-based Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for the placement of a new deep water port facility for the Falkland Islands Government. Annabelle also has considerable public engagement experience.
Annabelle is actively involved with Manchester Metropolitan University; regularly mentoring students on the Landscape Architecture course, and volunteers with a local foodbank as part of her community initiative at Tyler Grange.
